Snap Uganda 2026

Photography, Communication and Belief: Lake Victoria to Karamoja

Snap Foundation returns to the field with a photography education project in north-east Uganda, working with young people from remote, traditional communities where access to creative tools is limited, but curiosity and storytelling run deep. Travelling from Lake Victoria to Karamoja, we’ll introduce photography not only as a technical discipline, but as a way of seeing, light, people, moments and meaning, using simple cameras, hands-on workshops and local collaboration to help participants find confidence, express their stories, and continue long after we’ve gone.
